Delivery times vary depending on:
    •    Whether the item is custom made or in stock
    •    Complexity of manufacturing
    •    Material availability
    •    Production schedules
    •    International transportation and logistics

Important:

All delivery dates provided are estimates only.

Made-to-order products are subject to manufacturing schedules and international freight conditions. Delays may occur due to factors outside of our control, including:
    •    Factory holidays
    •    Customs clearance
    •    Shipping delays
    •    Transport disruptions
    •    Weather conditions
    •    International freight congestion

Grand Lux Furniture shall not be held liable for delays caused by such circumstances.

  1. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION & SCHEDULING

Once your order is ready for dispatch:
    •    Our logistics team will contact you typically 1–3 days before delivery to schedule a suitable delivery date.
    •    A time window will be provided where possible, however exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
    •    You must ensure someone over the age of 18 is present to accept delivery.

  1. FREE UK DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY

We offer free delivery and assembly throughout mainland UK for all qualifying furniture orders, carried out by our professional in-house delivery team.

Exclusions:
    •    Scotland
    •    Northern Ireland
    •    Republic of Ireland

For deliveries to these locations, additional assembly charges may apply. Our team will advise prior to dispatch.

  1. DELIVERY METHOD

Our delivery service includes:
    •    1–2 man professional delivery team
    •    Delivery to your property
    •    Assembly of furniture where required
    •    Removal of external packaging

Smaller items such as cushions, accessories, or decor items may be shipped via courier services including DPD or Royal Mail.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES – ACCESS & MEASUREMENTS

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
    •    All access routes are suitable for delivery
    •    Doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, and corridors are measured accurately
    •    The furniture can safely fit into the delivery address

If delivery cannot be completed due to insufficient access:
    •    Additional delivery attempts
    •    Specialist handling
    •    External hoisting
    •    Upholstery dismantling or reassembly

may incur additional charges, which the customer is liable for.

We strongly advise customers to check all measurements carefully before placing an order.

  1. ROOM PREPARATION

Customers must ensure:
    •    The delivery area and room of placement are fully cleared and prepared
    •    Sufficient space is available for assembly
    •    Floors and access routes are clear

Failure to prepare the space may result in delivery delays, aborted deliveries, or additional charges.

  1. MISSED OR FAILED DELIVERIES

If a delivery attempt fails due to:
    •    Customer not being present
    •    Access issues
    •    Inadequate preparation
    •    Refusal of delivery

Additional delivery charges may apply.

  1. DELIVERY INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE

Customers must inspect goods carefully at the time of delivery and assembly.

Any visible damage, defects, or discrepancies must be:
    •    Reported immediately to the delivery team
    •    Recorded on the delivery documentation
    •    Photographically documented

Failure to report visible damage at delivery may affect subsequent claims.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding latent or concealed defects.

  1. INSURANCE & RISK

All orders are fully insured by Grand Lux Furniture during transit and delivery.

Once delivery and acceptance have taken place, responsibility transfers to the customer.

    •    Local handling fees

Delivery estimates are non-binding and subject to change. Delays caused by manufacturing schedules, international freight, customs clearance, weather, industrial action, or other unforeseen events are beyond our control and do not constitute breach of contract.
