Environmental Impact
Each year, BHF saves around 74,000 tonnes of items from going to waste – that’s equivalent to the weight of over 600 blue whales! By donating, you’re helping to cut down landfill waste and reduce harmful CO₂ emissions.

Sustainable Reuse
Your donation supports a circular economy. In 2023 alone, BHF reused or recycled over 450,000 pieces of furniture and electrical items. This keeps usable items in homes and out of incinerators.

Life-Saving Work
